Top 7 Accessory Trends for Spring/Summer 2012
1. STACKED OVERSIZED BANGLES
Pile them on is the best way to showcase your wrist candy. The more the better. Don't be afraid to mix and match different textures, colors and materials. |
2. REPTILE PRINT
3. Pastels/Sorbet Colors
4. Tribal Prints
Tribal prints, ethnic fabric treatments, jeweled details, fringed shoes--all of these take inspiration from tribal looks and can add fashion interest to your wardrobe. |
One of the biggest accessory trends spotted on the Spring '12 runways is bright, perfectly circular sunnies. It's a little John Lennon with a bit of '90s-cool thrown in — and designers like Stella McCartney, Diane Von Furstenberg, Erdem, etc showed round shades in many finishes and colors. It is definitely a fun, daring and unconsciously vintage. |
This season the futuristic/metallic trend is making a strong comeback. I recently went shopping in Chanel and saw this wonderful clutch featured here: Wishlist: Chanel Stuff 2012. Lately, an abundance of mirrored pumps and geometrical shapes have been showcased everywhere . I love everything about this trend. My only advice would be to not overdo it -- the tin man is not sexy. Well he is- but you are human and should look as such. If you are going to incorporate the metallic/futuristic trend , use it as an ACCENT and not a themed look. Pop on some metallic shoes with a contemporary outfit, use it as an accent in nail polish, a belt, a clutch or handbag or shoes--- try not to do more than one accent piece in a look.
7. FINGERNAIL POLISH
Amazing sunglsses, I found the same on this site Originalluxury
