Kanye West for 5,800 Alex

Music superstar Kanye West has teamed with infamous shoe designer Guiseppe Zanotti for what appears to be a very extravagant collaboration. Kanye is known for his avant-garde fashion sense and personality and  has merged with some of the most powerful fashion houses in the world. On January 22, 2009, during Paris Fashion Week, West introduced his first shoe line designed for Louis Vuitton. The line was released in summer 2009. On October 1, 2011, Kanye West premiered his women's fashion label, DW Kanye West at Paris Fashion Week, which is named after his late mom- Donda West. He received a lot of support from well accomplished designers such as: DSquared2 duo Dean and Dan Caten, Olivier Theyskens, Jeremy Scott, Azzedine Alaïa, and the Olsen twins, who were also in attendance during his show. His debut fashion show received  a medly of high and low notes from critics but his passion for fashion has brought him to continue exercising his talents with his latest invention -the 5,000 sandal. I think this shoe is a direct blueprint of all the the quirky in Kanye's brilliant mind.
